Honduran Banking Group Acquires Citi’s Nicaraguan Unit

Grupo Financiero Ficohsa, the financial group of Honduran Capital with headquarters in Panama, has agreed to fully acquire Citibank's consumer banking unit in Nicaragua. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed. This is the second Citibank unit that Ficohsa has purchased in Central America.
